The Buckhunter might have been a good buy it was a clean looking gun but once I buy a gun it's mine guess you could call me a packrat good bad or ugly it's mine, So I have to make a decision there and then to walk or carry...

Now that I've gotten to shine a light down the barrel on the Hawkins I see that there is just a bit of rust / corrosion about 5 inches down in the barrel that runs down about 4 or 5 inches more it ain't all over it's just a thin strip right up next to four of the rifleing's it Seems stuck pretty good.

Any ideas on how to get it out ?

The rust on the the lock plate engravings came right off with a little oll and steel wool and looks like it was never there.
