Default Did I do wrong by passing?

Today I went to a yard sale and they had some muzzle loaders for sale they had two in lines, two side locks, and a pistol
One of the in lines was a Traditions Buckhunter Pro for $100.00 Looked like it was in real good shape...

The other was a CVA don't know which model but it's one of them that are the cheapest in their line, for $50.00 I couldn't tell how the bore was because it had so much dried bore butter caked up in the barrel you couldn't see anything....

Next was a CVA Bobcat with wood stock looked real good for $75,00

The other sidelock was a CVA St. Louis Hawkens Looked real good but had just a little rust on the side of the lock plate in some of the engravings for $40.00

and the Pistol was a Kentucky that looked real good for $125.00

Well I've been wanting a Kentucky pistol but past it up and I've been wanting a inline but I past them up (I haven't heard much a bout the CVA in line and also not being able to see the bore turned me off from it)

and I got a bobcat but with a synthetic stock so I passed it up

But the Hawkens!!!! came home with daddy!!!!!!

So did I do wrong by passing any of these up

And Can any body tell me about them Cheap CVA Inline's I seen some at a wal-marts near here that were on sale for $80.00
