Nothing as far as accuracy. It might be a little easier to spot the dirt on it, but other then that they all have to be cleaned after you shoot them. I have a nickel barrel on my Staghorn and I admit, I like it. I do not own a stainless. I might have to work on that.

By the way that wolverine is a round ball shooting wonder. I was shooting round ball today out of mine using 65 grains of FFFg Goex and a moose milk patch with homecasted balls. This rifle will really put them in the bull. Of course I was only shooting out to 50 yards but it was a lot of fun. I also shot some minnie balls that were paper patched out of it. It shot them high, but not all that bad actually....
