Default RE: Peep rotation problem

Muzzy,

Going through the same thing right now after a cable and string change. I've re-timed the bow once so far and the string is still creeping. I have also reset the peep once, when I retimed the bow. I'll put maybe another 100 shots into it, retime, tune, and hopefully set the peep for the duration of the string.

Oh yes, when you install the peep be sure to count the strands equally dividing them on installation. That way the stress on the string will be as neutral as possible causing less twisting on the peep. Once the string has settled you should be able to find the proper string division. A handy trick is to take a half a toothpick(dulled) and place it between the strands. Draw the bow and see how it rotates. Change the position between the strands until it comes up pointing to your sight. That position is going to be real close if not on.

Aim Hard!
