We've seen two model 70's in .300 wsm this week that will not properly chamber a cartridge. Were still trying to figure that out.
What model model 70s (i.e. featherweight,laminate, etc)? Ive been fortunate enough not to have a problem with my 270wsm chambering loads.
IF I already had a 7mm I wouldnt worry about adding a 300 mag to my collection for elk hunting. But sense I dont, if I bought one it would be a 300wsm, or a 300winnie sense you didnt list the wsm.
