You guys are forgetting that most times a coyote will run from a dog. This is a rare case. Usually, one coyote wouldn't even try to take a healthy dog. Two coyotes might try, and could get the job done, but mostly they will run like the scavenger, coward scoundrels they are. Mountain cur dogs are trained to run wild hogs, I think a coyote would run out of the county with a pack of curs behind it.
