Funny how the biggest whiners are compond shooters. The crossbow has been around alot longer so is a more primative weapon. Some people think that a crossbow shoots like a rifle and gives the shooter an unfair advantage. Truth is, the lighter bolt of the crossbow loses velocity and energy so fast that the crossbows range is very limited. I say any compound shooter that complains about crossbows should learn more about the sport. Maybe they should shoot a selfbow so they don't have an unfair advantage. After all, when archery seasons were first approved, bows didn't have wheels, cables, peep sights, or stabilizers!
Muzzle loader shooters are doing the same thing. It's the traditional vs inline argument.
