IMO the best one is the one that you build yourself. I have 2 sony p32 model game cameras. they run about 300.00 per unit depending on how much you pay for your camera. They are great on battery life. I have gotten as many as 250 pictures off a set of AA batteries in the camera. the controller unit for the camera runs of one nine volt battery and will last about 3 months. now, with all this said and done. I haven't heard of any commercial game camera getting that kind of battery life. You also get the satisfaction of knowing that you built your own unit. They don't take a rocket scientist to build either. The controller units come fully assemble and you drill 2 holes in the box for it to mount on. then there will be 3 holes drilled out using a one inch hole saw for the lens, IR sensor, and flash to look out. with a little glue and about one full saturday you can build your own high quality unit. I have owned several commercial units and have since sold them. here is an example of a pict from one of my units taken last month.
