I match every month here in arizona in the (obsolete bolt action) class which is any military bolt action.. i shoot at targets at 200,300 and 5oo yards... with practice you also
can hit targets the size of a coyote at 5oo yards.. i do it every month with a 100 year old rifle model.......do i suggest making a 5oo yard shot at elk on public land....(NO).
good luck guys...choose wisely because a box of 15.00 30.06 bullets will do the same thang that a 30.00 dollar box of 300 mag bullets will do at 300 yards and that is (BRING AN ELK DOWN).............
