I prefer the Cut no Contact head over the puncture type head on a bull elk. This does not mean that puncture type heads don't work fine with adequate amouts of KE backing them. I have used both and killed with both. I had muzzy 3 blades and now shoot Steelforce and have had great success with them. I feel with the same KE I get better penetration with the 2 blade style cut on contact head. Less friction on impact, slicing vs puncturing. Bulls get thick hided and muddy during the archery season.
