Did anyone here go to the Spring Deer and Turkey show this year or last year in Bloomington IL?
There was a very nice younger couple there that was sharing their home (for a fee) with bowhunters during deer season. They have several stands set up, you have all access to their land, 4x4s, sleep in their house, and they make all the meals do laundry etc.
Looking at their picture albumn, one could expect to see many 150 - 180 class deer.
The fee was only $250 per day per person with 4 person max.
I just can't remember the name of the outfit.
It was southwest of peoria along the river I believe.
I'm hoping that someone that went there grabbed a business card (and didn't throw it out like I did) and can share the name with you. Good Luck!
