Well, like you I came from using a bow that had some age to it too!! I had an old Browning that I used for the past 17 or so years with a fat grip on it just like Bob H said.

Since getting my Outback, I did find that it took some getting used to it, but I like it just fine and wouldnt change it.

I have the Vibracheck stabilizer which I like.
