I am going out to Pikes County, IL this upcoming October for my first outfitter hunt with Hadley Creek Outfitters in Barry IL. (www.hadleycreek.com )I have spoken to several people who have hunted there and they have said that the experience alone is well worth the price. They report seeing (and passing on) 5 to 12 good bucks per sitting! You have to shoot a minimum of a 130 class (actually a 125 class) or else they fine you $500 for shooting too small of a buck. There is not trophy fee for anything above. Their website speaks for itself. It's not the cheapest around, but the reviews I have gotten are outstanding. We met with the owners this past year in Springfield, MA at the Sportsman's show and they were some of the nicest folks I have spoken to in the outfitter industry. They just said to bring our gear and be ready for the hunt of a lifetime. I hope this helps.
