RE: Brace Height ????
Hey there fishon01.I haven't been involved in bowhunting near as long as some of the people on the board, but I have tried to be a good student,in order to become better at it.What I have read and been told by some reaaly good bowhunters(and great archers)is that 7" is a good medium when talking brace height. As brace height increases,a bow GENERALLY,is more forgiving of minor flaws in our form. When it decreases from this point,it USUALLY is a little less forgiving. There are trade-offs of course. As was mentioned earlier, lower braced bows are usually speed machines that can really smoke an arrow. For an archer that has flawless form(definitely not me!),this is great.Personally,I'd rather have a little less speed, and a little more forgivness in my bow of choice, and then try to make my bow shoot as quietly as possible.
