Always, I write the number on my white vane with a sharpie. Does a few things:

- easy to tell if its the same arrow that won't group with the others.
- when I take the BH off to travel somewhere, its easy to put the same BH back on the same arrow (I mark the inside of the BH box too).

Once you have a "bad" arrow you can refletch, spin the tip, spin the nock, different BH games to try and make it fly with the others.
