Not to sound rude, but if you have no confidence in your self around those bears, stay away from where they are!!!!

Guys like that aren't able to kill a bear cleanly "no matter what they carry", because they think it's "all in the weapon"!!! They just don't realise that most of it is in the person carrying that weapon!!!! It's just as much about what's inbetween your ears as it is about what's in your hands!!!

A 300 Win. mag. with proper bullets a "risk" on a bear???? I sure wouldn't have thought so if i had been the one holding it!!! I've shot and killed bears with less gun that that!!

I've hunted with guys like that myself, and to be honest i was more worried about them shooting "me" by accident, than i ever was of a bear eating me for lunch!!!
