I've never tried the Lab Lab and have toyed with the idea of planting it in the fall in east texas (clay soil) I have three 1/4 acre plots next to each other in a R.O.W. each planted a year apart (clover). That way I never have a BIG job in the fall. I start a plot with Lime, then Roundup, then mow with garden tractor. I use a rear tine tiller then drag a section of weighted chain link fence with my garden tractor to level the plot. I spread seed with a hand cranked seeder and fertilize by throwing handfulls from a bucket (however many hundreds of pounds are called for by soil test).
