NO excess recoil,,,,,,,,,,,sorry thought you meant as in carp fishing.Didnt read into yours good enough either............had posted a question about how to catch these fish also.Only things i have found are on the internet is all so far.Nobody seems to tell me much else about them.Even looked in ebay under wiper or striper lures.Guess i just figured you could catch them much the same as a regular bass,maybe and maybe not in a few ways.Rubber worms dont sound like they;d work.Seems like i read something to the affect that surface plugs or lures just under the surface might work tho.So carp that yours nickname ok.Sorry,,,,,if i sounded off or whatever just frustrated with whether or not i still have any in the pond.And if i could even get a glimpse of them.You going to a big lake or dam with wipers .Seems like have heard a friend telling me he;d sen that they had them down that way.But no real info as far as seeing poeple catch them.Later,,,,,,,,,500smith
