You should be able to pik up a 700 Remington ADL Synthetic for about 400-424.00. I think you can shorten the stock a little on these. Last week at Scheels in Fargo ND they were selling new Savage 111 rifles new for 299.00 in 270 and 30-06. I wish I would have been in the market for one.
