We were in the James river and caught over 180 croakers and 50 catfish.
Had some stripers and whitebass as well. Also caught 2 stingrays.

Man what a trip. Nice cats too. Nothing over 8#'s, but I'm going back in June to Dutch Gap for 60++#'s cats!!!!!

Never used squid for catfish bait before. That and crabs worked pretty well. But we were in Brakish water, where the salt water and fresh water mix. Heck of a trip.
