I made the mistake of doing the cheap scope first thing. Never could get the rifle to shoot a good group. Had buddies shoot it incase it was just me, and they could not group decent either. Finaly got smart and bought a Leupold. Now I can hit a gnat's rear at 300 yds. Makes all the difference in the world.
