I put catwiskers on my new outback but took them off. The string dampeners already took away most of the noise. I called mathews and they said that the extra weight will not only cause loss of speed but more oscilation of the string. I took mine off and notice no difference. It is still very very quiet and I don't even have limbsavers or a stabilizer yet.
