Thing is, when they only give one number, we know what they mean If interested, people can go back to the Boone & Crockett site. Go to "How to score your trophy". Pick bears. Enter the numbers you cited from the record. You will see that the actual "score" is the length and width, added together. In the case that you cited, the Final Score is actually 23 10/16.
