RE: Do you still get pumped?
Hi
I've been hunting public land over 25yrs here in New Hampshire and Vermont and the last 4yrs. Have had the pleasure of hunting with my son, who is 14yrs old. I get my Turkey every year and so does my son, since he started hunting with me. When the season is over, we don't just stop Turkey Hunting we Video
all year long knowing the patterns of the Turkeys where we hunt and also we have a log we keep everytime we go into the woods. I guess what I'm trying to say is Turkey Hunting to us is a all year round thing....When I started years ago, there wasn't alot of info like there is today or such GREAT Forums like we have here with all the Great Turkey Hunters and all the info a young hunter can get if they just ask and what to learn..I bet you can ask all the Hunters, and they will tell you. That everytime they go out they learn something new most of the time...So to answer your Question "Do you still get Pumped" the answer is Yes, and the day I don't is the day I well stop Turkey Hunting ..........I wish everyone could feel the feeling when you watch your 10yr old Son Bag his frist Gobbler, and then ask why you have tears in your eyes and you tell him because your my son and you make me proud.......then he hugs me...............
