Rugers-----the scores are correct.Not sure which book your reading from boone and crockett but here in our record books(FROW)the largest killed bear in the 2 nd edition with archery equipment is 21-12/16 and dressed out on certified government scales at 502 lbs
In 1992 a bear was killed by a car and dressed at a whopping 732.5 lbs and scored 20-4/16
And the largest with modern firearm is 21-2/16 and dressed at 548 lbs.
This is from the second edition.The third edition is out now but i havent received it yet.Im sure that some of these records have been broke all ready to date
The minimum required score for boone and crockett is 21 inches and for pope and young its 18 inches
