RE: FX Stablilizer
Hey guys,
I don't shoot an FX or a Mathews for that matter so you'll probably want to take what I have to say with a grain of salt. With that being said, I shoot a Firestorm lite and have shot it with a couple of diffrent stabilizers. The best (meaning most versital with the best vibration dampening capabilities) stabilizer I have tried and because of proformance I am still using is the Sims Modular Stabilizer. It is by no means the cheapest stabilizer on the market but the proformance and quality of it makes the price well worth it.
My bow (set up with leaches and PSE NV system) was not loud by any means. I was happy with my set up but when I bought my bow the shop didn't have the modular in stock so I bought what the shop had in stock mainly because I just wanted to shoot. After shooting a couple of months (and letting my wallet recover) I decided to get the stabilizer I originally wanted.
I was absolutely amazed how well it worked. The diffrence on a bow I considered to be quiet already was night and day. The reduction in hand shock and noise were overwhelmingly noticeable.
It may not work for you bow but if the shop will let you shoot a few arrows with it on I'm quite confident you won't want to take it off. It is a great product IMO.
