RE: Vital bow gear trapper sight
I own and shoot with a 3 ring trapper. What an awesome site! The site also comes in a 1 pin model. I bought the 3 ring and removed the front sight with the level on it. Now it is a two ring trapper. I shoot one pin at 25yds and the other at 35yds.
The sight as I'm sure you noticed is well built. Almost 99% metal construction makes it rugged. It adjust very easily and as you mentioned is extremely bright. I shoot often in the fading light of evenings and am convinced that may be the brightest sight on the market that dosn't use a light. (they do however make a light for it)
The only Issue I've ever heard of with VBG sights is the plastic wrap that cover the fiberoptic strand has come off. It hasn't happened to me and mine is in great condition. The shop that informed me of the issue also said VBG was very quick to resolve the issue.
I did need to get a spacer plate for my bow so that I could adjust my pins far enough right. That has been my only issue and it was remedied with a $2.50 spacer.
