After two seasons with vanes I'm ready to go back to my tried and true feathers....you can't talk me out of it, my mind is made up! In the past I've used Fastset Gel for all my fletching needs and have to say the stuff can't be removed without a knife....that's a good and bad thing! I'm getting sick of the white halo around my fletchings and I'm also sick of having zero chance for adjustment. I've been thinking about trying tape or some different glue. The problem I've noticed with the glues like Bond-Tite is you have to wait way too long for them to set before taking them out of the jig. That wouldn't be a problem if I had a whole week to fletch a dozen sticks, but I don't. What are you folks' recommendations reguarding fletching adhesives for feathers to carbon(Axis) shafts?
