Default It Depends on your skills

BLKLAB;

Your best bet is to get yourself a few good video's on mounting ducks. And purchase the Breakthrough Manual "Bird Taxidermy Manual" and the Breakthrough Manual "Waterfowl & Bird Finishing Manual" Don't expect the first few birds to come out like some of the seasoned taxidermist do. Like anything else you need to practice, then practice somemore. Both of the manuals will give you all the insight, tools, and equipment you'll need to mount a duck, or any other type of bird you want to mount.

Then of course you could attend any of the many classes in taxidermy and do hands on work, where a taxidermist will be watching you and advising you the correct procedures you'll need. Also try to go to your state's taxidermy Assoc. They may have a class, or you can talk to some of the members at their meetings. All will be helpful to you.

Good luck to you.
