-----you have ever bought ammo in a caliber that none of your guns fire
How about if you HANDLOAD ammunition for a caliber you don't own! (That's me.)
Been saving for a Ruger Super Redhawk .454 Casull for awhile (which I just picked up TODAY!!!

), but a few months back I got a heck of a deal on a set of .454 dies at a gunshow (that I couldn't pass up), then a week later Midway had a sale on their Starline .454Casull brass (that I couldn't pass up), and before I knew it I had 50 rounds of .454 Casull loaded and patiently sitting on my bench wait for a gun to be shot through! I also have a box of .243Win ammo that I bought before I changed my mine and bought a .22-250. Only 19 rounds though, 'cause I couldn't resist the urge to pull one bullet and see what kind and how much powder the factory ammo used.
And I have a half box of .44Mag from a Rossi lever gun I USED to own.
Right now I have more ammo for guns I DON'T own, than for guns I do! Do I qualify as a "gun nut"?[8D]
