Being a redneck from the country who has dealt with this, let me tell ya, the neighbor could care less. For me, I just released my rottweiler when other dogs came into my yard and let her settle it. If you don't like that idea, BB guns work well and the dog learns the boundry quick. It doesn't kill them, just stings them good enough to get their attention.
