dog1, first off the Hun is a small but tasty upland game bird, quail sized. The last few years huns can be found pretty easily in most areas of the prairie's. They often hang in small-med coveys near small bluffs of trees, or slough bottoms, high natural grasses and offer a fair challenge in wing shooting. Huns can hang real tight or bust very early, they also are known for their running ability much like pheasants. Usually the best mix for huns is cover closely associated to cropland, they prefer wheat/derm/barley or pea fields for feeding. They can often be found running down gravel roads during the daylight hours in the right areas. Bird dogs will help to sniff out runners and tight holding birds, not to mention will make finding these smaller birds a lot easier following dropping them in the often high grass. The daily limit here in Sask is 10 birds per hunter. The bonus is they can also be found in areas where sharpie's(Grouse) hang, which the limit is 3 birds per day. Other opportunities such as geese and ducks are always a possibility and generous limits to boot for both birds.

In pertaining to the Moosbank area(which is loacted in the south part of the Province of Saskatchewan), this area is good for both upland and waterfowl birds. It is situated near old wives lakes. Here is a link to the town website: www.sasktelwebsite.net/greatw/

By no means is it the only area that you can find both upland and waterfowl, this province is blessed with exceptional opportunities for both through out. You may want to check out the sask. outfitters association as well to try and pinpoint areas which might be of interest. www.soa.ca
A guide isn't really required, but it doesn't hurt as they have both land access and area knowledge which we all know makes a big difference.
