First welcome to the best site on the net,you hit on a key issue when you mention comfort,if you are not comfortable with any part of you setup,you will not be at your best.Personally I like my release for compounds,but it may not be for you. Try as many diffrent styles of releases as you can no two will feel alike,you might find one that feels right,if you don't stick with fingers. I have a Cobra pro wrist release that's about 15 yrs. old,got a new bow last year wanted a new release to go with it tried 10-15 diffrent ones while at pro shop left there with my old Cobra,it just felt comfortable.Find what is best for you.HTH
