Practiced...with shooting and hunting skills
Prepared...to follow up on shots and spend the necessary time to recover game
Composed...if and when a shot opportunity arrives

I, too, don't think well known or competitive have anything to do with bowhunting. Quick shot applies on occassion, but must not be associated with haphazard.
