My Eagle fishfinder was dropped on a concrete floor, don't ask, and I cracked the screen and other assorted problems. Therefore, I'm looking for a new machine. I've narrowed my choices down to the Garmin 240 and the Lowrence X-71. Anyone have an opinion on either machine? I plan to use it entirely in freshwater while trolling for salmon and trout.
