I have had deer do the exact same thing you describe in your story countless times over the years................and I was wearing BLAZE ORANGE!!

All the camo patterns out there are nice. It's not like hardwoods, adv timber, or mossy oak aren't worn by guys that kill a million deer a year. ASAT seems to get nice reviews by most owners so I'm sure it does a fine job. Better then anything else??? I doubt it, but it sure doesn't seem to hurt
The Predator camo line in Cabela's archery catalog looks like ASAT IMO.
