I say most all aspects are equal
If you don't have good enter exit routes you bump them.
If you don't use good scent control in your hunting area you spook them.
If you don't sit still and are noisey they will generally spot you.
That perfect stand can be come a real $hitty one real quick in one shift of the wind or bullwinkle sneaking up from an unexpected direction
That is why scent control is such a priority to me. I always hunt the wind but do cheat it a little at times. I only cheat it a little when I am confident that I am basically scent free.
There is NO such thing as 100% scent free.
