Len that's a good point (as usual)and one I forgot!!.....that overdraw guard on the left side of the shelf will act like a tuning fork when shot.....too close to the riser and BUZZZZ!!!
I kept all of my frame measurements about 1/16" away from the riser and a hair more for the OD guard....I then slid a bit of moleskin between this guard and the riser to ensure that there would be no chance for a metal on metal contact.
