Default RE: Axis shooters

Len and I have discussed the ST AXIS a bit. Unfortunately as he put it on anotheer forum, "SS, DD", is appropriate The consistency in straightness leaves something to be desired. My first dozen was quite good. the second . I've been checking out the bulk packs at the shop and it's about a 50-50 yield. Some are really straight, some are very poor

IMO, Easton needs to bite the bullet, and start grading thier carbons like GoldTip and CX do[:@]

My dealer buys in bulk packs, and I'm sure he'd let me go spin through them and pick & choose, but I'd feel bad about him and other customers being left with all the crooked arrows. If they could just get the straightness runout worked out (or offer the grading), I'd still be shooting them as they are tough, group phenomenally well when straight, and do have very good weight tolerances. I also love the HIT.

Experimentation phase is over for the year, and I'm back to A/C/Cs again.
