I just got to my post at sunrise and was setting up against a tree. About 10 minutes later the call came. I didn't want to do it there, so I went 50 yards away near a heavy thicket. I left my jacket and the ammo in my jacket at my post but took my loaded 20 ga. shotgun with me. I finished and stood up and all of a sudden a big doe blasted out of the thicket. Since I didn't have a doe permit, I watched it go. I looked back into the thicket and saw another deer coming out of it. It turned out to be the biggest 10 point buck I have ever seen. I fired three round to bring this biggie down.
