I disagree about the balistic tips, I usually have a BIG explosion when I hit deer with my BST's in .30-06. They do a ton of damage, the only drawback I can find is that when they hit bone they redirect and fragment so much that they don't make a big enough exit hole. Have you tried plain old hollow points??? They aren't much for accuracy in my opinion, but they'd sure give you the explosion you want. I also use Win. Sup. X Powerpoint and powerpoint plus's, both give me good entry and exit wounds.
