RE: Turkeys and the wind????????
I find them hard to hunt in the wind. Unless you can spot them. Then you have a good chance to sneak up on them. I hunted earlier this year and it was WINDY!!! I only heard one or two gobbles and couldn't seem to find where the were roosted. Here is a question I have. If it is REALLY WINDY like it was then, will the turkeys come down from the trees in the night? The wind was gusting up over 40mph. I would think it would be hard for them to stay in without falling.
