The ONLY time I have or I have seen others use "dinks" as a guage against the trad clan - was in DIRECT rebutal to the constant bashing a few seem to have against the "easy" compounders.
Compared to a stickbow, a compound IS easy to shoot, ya dingbats! No need to go throwing insults at someone who's simply telling the truth. Compound elitists talking about hypocracy! Sheesh!

It's fine and dandy for some bozo to write that kind of outright SLANDER in a national magazine, it's perfectly acceptable for an idiot publisher to print it, but it's a flagrant foul for someone to even suggest that shooting compounds is EASY?
