Kreiger Barrel chamber services
Has any of you guys ever had Kreiger to rebarrel a gun. My gunsmith said he will chamber and mount a kreiger barrel to my remington action for 200 dollars, but looking on kreiger's web site, they will install and chamber a barrel for 170 dollars. Was the job they did for you satisfactory? Would you rather your own smith does the chambering and mounting?
Seems they will do it all for you from chambering, to threading to fluting, to satin finish, glass bed, pillar bed your stock and even put a muzzlebreak on. So if you supplyed the stock, and action, thinking it would cost $350 for a H-S stock, and around 200-300 for an action, you would have a complete custom for 1400 dollars.
