Because everyone wants to do what they enjoy most and have it all to themselves I don't think their is any comparison between crossbow and compound equipment but the argument that stealthy makes (I can't believe I am saying this) is valid. There is a lot of difference between the compound and traditional equipment that makes compounds much easier to use and much more effective. Now, how would everyone feel if they wanted to make compounds illegal in archery season? Crossbow hunters don't want to see an elitist attitude from compound hunters anymore than compound hunters want to see an elitist attitude from trads.
