what i do is get some ply wood....spread the tail out and then i add lil finishing nails , or reg. ones in between the feathers and i salt the tail and let dry....make sure it looks like you want it, then add salt/borax to it.....cut all the meat/skin off of it ......i will let dry for about a week and then i change the salt, i'l repeat this until dry....while it is drying , i look for the wood i am going to put it on......both my tails and a set of feet are drying now, beards too[8D]i just havent found the time to go get the wood yet but i will soon
oh, i forgot to tell ya....after the salt is on it and it's time to leave it alone, i spray a thin layer of water on the salt so just in case it gets bumped it doesnt go everywhere.....
