RE: 7600 to the range again
I'm on my first 7600, 35 Whelen and like you I am very impressed with the accuracy out of the box. I am just starting to work up a load with I4064 and 200 gr corlokts. Once I get a load worked up with them I'll switch over and fine tune with either Hornady or Sierras. One range I have the opportunity to shoot out has hanging silhouettes out to 500 meters I was shooting at a turkey silhouette at 387 meters and hitting 4 out of six times with factory corlokts. Not that I would take that long of a shot at a deer but knowing you can hit at that range is comforting. I fully expect to keep this one as my one gun for all situations deer and up. Who knows I may even pick one up in 30-06 to have as a back up.
