I think your on to something Arthur. I have only been bowhunting for about 7 years (all compounds) but also have a history of shoulder problems. all this to say that I recently built a deflex longbow and absolutley love it. I said I wasn't going to quit shooting modern, but as I become more proficient I'm finding simple is more fun, rewarding and alot less painful.
