Kelincp, Are you talking black powder like a flintlock or the new inline muzzleloaders with scopes that out shoot my shotgun? That you can soak in water and they still shoot and shoot sabots? Not really that primitive anymore are they? I ahve friends that have switched to muzzleloaders to increase their range during gun season.

I had to hunt on te ground alot this year because of a back injury. I could have shot numerous deer if I didn't have to draw back when they were twenty yards in front of me.

How will legalizing the crossbow open up land to hunters? I hunt in a couple area that are urban, fact is many of these people just won't open up there land to hunting.

I really don't have a problem with disabled people using a crossbow during regular archery season. The standards for who will be allowed a permit are to vague for me to write my assemblyman and support this bill, and I write alot of letters and talk with my rep alot. He lives about ten houses down fro me.
