My favorite has to be the 7Mm RM. I got one a couple of years ago and it has quickly replaced my .308 as my go to gun! For deer, the 7MM RM could be considered overkill, but not that much.
My intention with the 7MM is to have a good, flat shooting deer gun, with the idea of having a gun that I am familiar with when I get hthe opportunity to go Elk or Moose hunting. Since I don't intend to go after dangerous game I think that the 7MM RM is the last gun that I will ever need! Not that it will be the last one that I ever buy though!
